Swansea come from behind to beat Gunners in thrilling match

Scott Sinclair scored Swansea's first goal from the penalty spot

Danny Graham's goal proved the winner as Swansea came from behind to beat Arsenal in an end-to-end encounter in the Barclays Premier League.

Arsenal went in front through Robin van Persie's 18th League goal of the season after less than five minutes, but Scott Sinclair equalised from the spot shortly after and the home side went ahead through Nathan Dyer just after half-time.

Theo Walcott fired Arsenal level just after Gunners legend Thierry Henry had come off the bench for his Barclays Premier League return, but Graham scored from a tight angle less than a minute later to make it 3-2.

Midfielder swaps Old Trafford for Goodison Park in bid for first-team football

Darron Gibson

Darron Gibson struggled to win a regular first-team place at Manchester United

Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Darron Gibson from Barclays Premier League champions Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has signed a four-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park, ending an eight-year association with United.

Gibson becomes Everton's second capture of the January transfer window after the loan signing of US forward Landon Donovan, and the Irishman could make his Toffees debut at Aston Villa on Saturday 14th January.

"Hopefully I can score some goals, but I want to do as well as I can for the team"
- Darron Gibson

"It's a great club with great fans and hopefully I can improve Everton,", Gibson told the club's official website (evertonfc.com). "I think I'm a goalscoring midfielder and hopefully I can get a few goals.

"I've scored a few long-range shots - I don't think I've scored one inside the box to be honest.

"If I score goals it's a bonus for me. I'm just looking to do as well as I can for the team."

Londonderry-born Gibson played his last match for United in their 5-0 win over Wigan on Boxing Day, but that was his only League appearance of the season.

Gibson played 60 matches in all competitions for United, scoring 10 goals, but made only 14 Barclays Premier League starts as he struggled to hold down a first-team place.

He enjoyed a six-month spell out on loan at Wolves from October 2007 to April 2008, playing 24 times for Mick McCarthy's side.

Exclusive: Hair Company Sues Sean John Over Empress Perfume Name

Empress Sean John Perfume Ad

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with a lawsuit by Empress Haircare Products, over the usage of the name Empress, a perfume created by the Sean John Clothing Company.

Empress Haircare Products filed a lawsuit on January 10 in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.

According to the lawsuit, representatives for Sean John attempted to file a trademark for the name Empress, even though they knew that a existing trademark had been granted to Empress Haircare Products.

Around February 2010, an attorney for Sean John contacted Empress Haircare Products, in an attempt to obtain the rights to use the trademark, in return for compensation.

Empress Haircare Products declined to enter an agreement with Sean John, and would not grant the rights to use the Empress mark.

Sean John then filed a second application to trademark the name “Empress Sean John,” but the application was also rejected, because consumers could have been confused by the similar names.

Attorneys for Sean John then allegedly contacted Empress Haircare Products, in an attempt to plead their case, claiming there would be no confusion in the marketplace.

Despite the legal issues surrounding the name, the lawsuit claims that the “Empress Sean John Perfume and Lotion” was released and is currently being marketed to the same target consumer as the Empress Haircare line of products.

Sean John is being sued for infringement of a federally registered trademark and unfair competition.

Empress Haircare Products is seeking damages of up to three times the amount suffered, in addition to three times the profits earned by Sean John’s Empress perfume line.

TERRENCE HOWARD SLAM WIFE AS RACIST

Actor Terrence Howard says his estranged wife Michelle, who recently accused him of beating her and making death threats , is a monster who hates black people.

Not only that, he claims she once tried to have him killed!

According to Terrence Howard, who's firing back against Michelle Howard in one of the worst celebrity divorces ever, she routinely called him "monkey" or "n!gger."

Terrence says Michelle inexplicably turned from a "loving, gentle" person into a crazy woman who once threatened to have him killed by Russian mobsters (really)

Michelle Howard Picture

In court documents, Howard notes that Michelle is NOT black, and claims that when she would get upset with him, she would scream things such as:

  • "[I] never wanted to marry a n!gger in the first place"
  • "[I] definitely didn't want to be the step mother of some n!gger kids."

He also alleges his wife threatened to have him "clipped" if he went to police and bragged, "I have a lot of Russian friends who would do it as a favor."

Howard also claims Michelle has major jealousy issues, to say the least ... attacking him with a bottle after accusing him of talking with other women.

He claims this happened TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, and he never retaliated.

Terrence has asked the court to issue a restraining order against Michelle. She already has one against him. A hearing in their case is set for Jan. 17.
